The client is an mid-sized startup with an innovative business model in the online shopping space.
Contenuti della posizione:
Design, build and maintain big data solutions
· Teach team members on big data technology stack
· Develop efficient and robust ETL processes
· Work with Hadoop to improve performance and end-user experience
Requisiti:
University degree in Computer science or software engineering
· 5+ years of work experience with big data technology stack (Hadoop, Apache Storm etc.)
· Must have skills: Hadoop, Apache Storm, Apache Kafka,
· Further mandatory knowledge: Java, noSQL db, Redis
· Experience with: Ruby, Python, Cassandra considered a plus
· Good communication, co-ordination and organization skills
· English proficiency mandatory, German a plus
Offer

· The assignment will begin in Cape Town and run there for about 6 month. Afterwards, you would ideally relocate to Berlin
